What Grief Teaches You That No One Talks About

This past weekend I was faced with a hardship that we all hope we never have to deal with: the loss of someone we know and care deeply for.

On Sunday my husband and I received word that a good friend of ours who we had met in Nicaragua and visited at his home in BC, passed away from a heart attack.

His death was sudden and unexpected- and it rocked our world. We’ve been processing, connecting with other mutual friends and his family, and looking back on all our memories with him- which has helped significantly.

But one thing I’ve noticed in the last few days of grieving, is that experiences like this can really stir up some deep-seeded beliefs and feelings… and there’s something that grief can teach you that no one really talks about.

Today we’re going to explore this together in a slow and heart-to-heart way, where I walk you through what I believe moments like this can give us and why it is so important to listen to that.
