Today in our ‘Friday’s with Friends’ feature, Kaila Minion walks us through her journey being raised in an unstable home, witnessing her mother become addicted to prescription medication.
Later on in life at the age of 19 she is hit by a car, and forced to face the same harrowing fate: use prescription medication to cope or find a healthier alternative.
She shares with us how she ended up stumbling into her love of fitness from this experience, and how it created a career she never could have imagined.
Even more wild? She’s now exploring the world of shamanic medicine and beginning to open herself up to her own gifts in an even deeper way.

Kaila Minion is a transformation and well-being coach, nutrition specialist, mom, yogi, and entrepreneur on a mission to change the world. She has been in the fitness industry for over 14 years from teaching group fitness to personal training, and now to running 2 businesses a spin studio and a coaching business.
She knows the difference having a healthy mind and body have made for her in her life, and now she wants to inspire others to find their personal power and step into the best version of themselves.
Kaila is a PN Level 2 Nutrition Specialist, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer, 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher, 100hr Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher, Keiser Spin Keiser Spin Instructor, Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Transformation & Well-Being Coach.
